WHERE WE WORK
Our work is concentrated in Somanya, Ghana, where we are deeply embedded within the communities we serve. We operate directly on the ground, delivering vital skills training and fiscal support to Persons with Disabilities, women, and girls.
Our local presence ensures that our programs are tailored to address specific community needs, fostering genuine empowerment and sustainable development right where it’s needed most.
STORY ABOUT US
THE FOUNDATION
The Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation (HDMF) was established primarily, to work towards the socio-economic transformation of vulnerable women, girls, and PwDs to end poverty and build their capacities as well as advocate for change for vulnerable women, girls, and PwDs and further support their empowerment to build a better life. Since its establishment in 2018, the HDMF has designed and implemented projects that seek to promote policies and systems that respect and advance the rights of women, girls, and PWDs and advocate for improved access to public goods and services and the general well-being of women and girls.
HDMF is a women-led, humanitarian, feminist, non-profit, non-partisan, non-religious gender-focused, and disability passionate. HDMF was established primarily since its establishment in 2018, the HDMF has designed and implemented projects that seek to promote policies and systems that respect and advance the rights of women, girls, and PwDs as well as advocating for improved access to public goods and services and the general well-being of women and girls.
